Photography has always fascinated me and I have a good passion for it.I am an amateur photographer and my passion for photography has taken me to many places and made me learn many new things in the process of capturing those finer moments of life . Sometimes there are small interesting stories behind every click I take and sometimes it defines my feelings for that day or that time of life.

"A Healing Sunset"

It was a long day today with some bad headache by evening. Instead of adding some caffeine to the evening I added a sunset to feel better. Definitely worked :-)

"Rays of hope"

This was a little risky shot with me trying to capture this shot right from my car on a dark road (with no shoulder) in between the woods after a heavy rain. I was kind of lost on this road but the sun-rays in that darkness was a nice relief.

The road that is built in hope is more pleasant to the traveler than the road built in despair, even though they both lead to the same destination. ~Marian Zimmer Bradley

It has been a long stressful day professionally, so I thought the best way to relax is by doing some SC :-)

"76 takes and Phhewwww....."

I have been planning to take a shot of spalsh for a while and today was the day. Though I didn't achieve the kind of shot I wanted to take , I felt this shot was decent enough . I took this shot near my kitchen window for good lighting and not sure if it's a good idea for such shots.I felt I need to practice these water shots to get good at accuracy. I will continue this experiment sometime in future. For now .oohoo, this is it :-)

While on a short walk , I found this little guy on a tree lost in some thoughts. I was almost close by and took few shots,but he didn't care to move. When I walked few yards and looked back he was still there..! Looks like he has some issues in the woods !

"Novice today , Hero tommorow !"

One joyous hug !

I took this shot when I went to a small town center concert. Interestingly the kids dancing in front of the stage were more center of attraction than the band :-) Though I love the essence of the shot I am not very happy with the crop of this picture as this was a totally unexpected shot and I couldn't bring the subject in the center of the frame. I was playing 'yes' 'no' in my mind before posting, and finally decided to post :D

"Daisies"

I have been playing with some color tones from past few days. I find it scary to experiment with color tones on flowers as I don't want to spoil the original beauty of the flower .I tried a kind of sepia here with out loosing the greens and whites in the image and hope the outcome was good.

The non stop rain and bad light was not friendly enough for some outdoor shots and I was too busy to click something indoors. So I started working on some pics I took before and ya , I wanted to add some sepia to my gallery :-)

Well , this may not be the best way to describe Paris, but I just gave a small try.I had this tiny Eiffel souvenir which I bought from Paris , so thought that the best way to picture Eiffel is by dropping it in wine.One of most beautiful things to experience in Paris is by going on top of the Eiffel and having a french wine at the dusk watching the sunset :-)

How can I get better??? : This gallery will hold random pictures for the honest feedback and critique community where any photographers or non photographers can honestly convey their opinion.I am personally a big critique myself about all my pictures and I think I have a long way to go.So these are some of those pictures where I thought "ouch" I need to get better !
